Summary

DE 7.1 Patch 1 and later contain solutions for issues and new features that add functionality. This article summarizes the new features.
  • Support for Windows 8.1 Update 1
  • Support for Trusted Platform Module (TPM) AutoBoot using TPM 1.2 chipsets (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) systems only)

    NOTE: TPM 1.2 chipsets are only supported on Windows 8.x clients that are configured to use UEFI.
     
  • Preboot Hardware Compatibility settings - BIOS mode only (non-Opal drive systems).
  • Support for Active Management Technology (AMT) 9.0 chipset.
  • Support for the generic Safesign implementation for smartcards.
  • User certificates for PKI purposes are now renewed based on the thumbprint of the certificate.
